Kilchoman has reintroduced a beloved
classic: the 'Kilchoman
Sauternes Cask Matured', which we first
saw back in September 2016. This 2024
limited edition Kilchoman Sauternes
Cask Matured whisky has undergone
full maturation in ex-Sauternes wine
casks and has been bottled at 50%
ABV.

Building on the sherry profile that
you find in Tomatin's classic 12
Year Old bourbon and sherry cask
matured whisky the Highland
distillery has added a 12 Year Old
fully Sherry Cask matured
single malt whisky to its core
range and for a 40% ABV dram
it is packed full of delicious
sherried fruit flavour, there are
some quality sherry casks at play
here. A very welcome addition to the
Tomatin range that wont disappoint
if you enjoy a sherried dram.

with fewer than 200 bottles
produced, this extremely limited
edition will be exclusively
available to visitors to the Jura
Distillery during Fèis Ìle.

releases in total and I have
reviewed 2 of them, the Bladnoch
Single Cask 2024/03 a peated dram
matured in a canasta butt and the
Bladnoch Single Cask 2024/05 matured
in a sherry butt and they are both
outstanding!

Ardnahoe Inaugural Release
Ardnahoe announces the release of
their first single malt whisky,
appropriately named Ardnahoe
Inaugural Release, it is 5 Year Old,
produced with 40ppm malt so it
should be rather peaty and matured

taste it it will cost you £70 a
bottle.

its new UK distributor. Starting
next month, the brand owner and
beverage distributor, Disaronno
