    The GlenDronach Traditionally Peated Review
The GlenDronach distillery which is better known for its unpeated sherry cask maturation style recently announced the release of a new peated expression, The GlenDronach Traditionally Peated. It is certainly a different GlenDronach, I suspect it isn't that old, it could have benefitted from more good sherry matured peated whisky in the mix. I would guess that it is supposed to replace the old GlenDronach Peated, it is certainly different to it but I would say this would benefit from being heavier sherried and more heavily peated, still a very enjoyable dram as it is.

This really is rather impressive stuff for such a young whisky, still a young whisky though, time will tell how good this will get but for now this offers more than its youthful age would normally suggest, already a quite drammable whisky.

Glengoyne Teapot Dram Batch 007 Review
Review of the new Glengoyne Teapot Dram Batch 007, this latest big sherried cask strength Teapot Dram contains the oldest selection of whiskies to date.
I have had the pleasure of all 7 batches of the Teapot Dram and for me this one stands out above them all to date. There are some quality blemish free Oloroso sherry casks at play here and the addition of some slightly more mature whisky into the mix has created a stunning big sherried dram, some very talented creative blending/vatting has gone into this.

Review of the new GlenAllachie 15 Year Old which is finished for around 20 months in two types of Sherry casks – Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso puncheons and hogsheads. It shows the potential the whisky has with longer in a sherry cask, a pleasure in the mouth but short lived on the finish. Still a nice clean lightly sherried everyday easy drinker from GlenAllachie.

Review of the Method and Madness Irish Pot Still Wild Cherry Wood Finish. The sherry influence is very light so I am guessing the sherry casks were not a big contributor, undoubtedly a pot still whiskey and a lovely fresh clean one offering
a gentle touch of fresh oak perhaps its cherry wood, a little sweet coconut, vanilla and a touch of ripe pear and just a hint of pot still spice.
