Gordon & MacPhail Rare Vintage Glen

Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs
Choice Speyburn 1991 Review
Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs
Choice Speyburn 1991 was matured in
Refill Sherry Hogshead casks. I
didn't expect the glorious fizzy
spices and pepper, no doubt a
contribution made by the casks used
for maturation. Not as sugar laden
as the Glenlivet Nadurra but reminds
me of the Glenlivet it in some ways.

Gordon & MacPhail Distillery Labels
Ardmore 1996 Review
Gordon & MacPhail Distillery Labels
Ardmore 1996 was matured in Refill
Sherry Hogshead casks. Exactly what
an independent bottling should be,
off the beaten track of the original
distillery bottlings, still
displaying the Ardmore DNA but with
added influence from the choice of
wood the whisky has matured in.

The MacPhail's Collection
Bunnahabhain 8 Years Old Review
The MacPhail's Collection
Bunnahabhain 8 Years Old from Gordon
& MacPhail was matured in Refill
Sherry Butts. A long time favourite
of mine, in my opinion a young
Bunnahabhain is best served peated
and the MacPhail's Collection serves
a cracking extremely enjoyable
Bunnahabhain 8 year old.

The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve
Review

and sweetness from the addition of
First Fill American oak casks,
resulting in a very enjoyable easy
to drink exceptionally smooth single
malt whisky. This is what I thought
of it...
