Royal Brackla
21 Year Old Review
Sitting
at the top of the new Royal Brackla single malt whisky range
is the Royal Brackla 21 year old, like
all the bottlings in the range is
presented in rather regal looking navy
blue packaging and bottled at 40% ABV
and it carries a clear age statement
which is becoming a rarity for any new
releases these days.
William
Morrison's Tasting Notes:
Nose: Floral, mature oak,
vanilla.
Taste: Sherried sweetness, gentle mature oak spice,
nutty, grassy, candied zesty orange,
dark chocolate, honey.
Finish: A lovely long finish, the candied zesty orange fades
leaving the drying mature oak spices.
Comment:
The sherry and dry oak are well balanced
all the way through with the dry oak
having the longer staying power in the
end.
SMW Score
88/100
Royal Brackla 21 year old has an RRP of £174.99 and will be available from
