Lochlea Overtone Over & Stout. This
final instalment in comprises of
three stout-seasoned casks (two

alongside one first-fill Bourbon
barrel and one ex-peated Bourbon
barrel.

ERP Ahead Of First Release
The Borders Distillery has taken a
significant step toward the release
of its first single malt Scotch
whisky. The Hawick-based distillery has
rolled out Bottle ERP (Enterprise
Resource Planning), a cloud-based
platform that provides full visibility
of the whisky-making process from start
to finish.

Bòcan Creation #7
Cù
Bòcan—the experimental single malt
produced at Tomatin Distillery each
winter has unveiled Cù Bòcan Creation #7
which marks two decades
of peated spirit production at the
distillery. Creation #7 has been matured
in a rare combination of Pineau des
Charentes Rouge and American virgin oak
casks. The result they say is a whisky
defined by notes of rhubarb, custard,
gentle heather smoke and sweet oak
spice.

Revival At RSPB Reserve
A significant new
conservation partnership has been
launched today, bringing together RSPB
Scotland and leading whisky distillers
Suntory Global Spirits, Diageo and The
Glenmorangie Company. Their shared goal
is to revive peatland on Islay — one of
Scotland’s most celebrated natural
landscapes.
The collaborative project at The Oa
nature reserve aims to protect vital
wildlife habitats, capture carbon,
and honour the deep cultural ties
between Scotland’s land, its
communities, and the whisky
industry.

Bruichladdich has relaunched its iconic
Black Art range with a brand-new, travel

The SMWS has unveiled a 35cl bottle
of its Wham Bam! festive dram,

glass, just in time for the holiday

distillery, this 11 Year Old whisky
was initially aged in an ex-bourbon
hogshead for five years before being
transferred to a first-fill Spanish
oak Oloroso hogshead. It is

has no age statement but I would say
it is far from being a youngster, I
suspect a creative mix of young and
old and it certainly delivers its
headlined spices and all with a
lovely touch of fruit, quite a
different Glenmorangie but a very
good one.

Kilchoman has announced the release
of their 100% Islay expression for
2025, this is the 15th Edition in
the series and this years expression
has been drawn from 54 ex-bourbon
barrels distilled in 2014 and 2015
making it an 9 year old whisky.

Look Jura Whisky Range
Jura has announced that Jura 12 Year Old
will now serve as the brand’s new
entry-level whisky within its core
age-statement range, replacing Jura 10
Year Old, which is being discontinued.
Alongside this change, Jura is
introducing a refreshed, simplified
packaging design across its single
malt range.
