    Cù Bòcan Creation #7
    Cù Bòcan—the experimental single malt produced at Tomatin Distillery each winter has unveiled Cù Bòcan Creation #7 which marks two decades of peated spirit production at the distillery. Creation #7 has been matured in a rare combination of Pineau des Charentes Rouge and American virgin oak casks. The result they say is a whisky defined by notes of rhubarb, custard, gentle heather smoke and sweet oak spice.

    Just bumping this up as I tasted it this afternoon. Review of the Glenmorangie A Tale Of Spices, the 6th release in this series from the creative Highland whisky maker. This has no age statement but I would say it is far from being a youngster, I suspect a creative mix of young and old and it certainly delivers its headlined spices and all with a lovely touch of fruit, quite a different Glenmorangie but a very good one.
