Rare Find Autumn 2026 Collection showcases four of Scotland’s heavyweight spirits.

Rare Find Autumn 2026 Collection

Edinburgh-based independent bottler Rare Find has unveiled its Autumn 2026 Collection of single cask whiskies, bringing together four distinctive expressions from distilleries celebrated for producing rich, full-bodied spirits.

The collection examines the interplay between spirit weight, texture and cask influence, demonstrating how carefully selected maturation can accentuate the qualities that define each distillery. While some whiskies are characterised by lightness and elegance, others are distinguished by their depth, texture and intensity.

The four releases focus on whiskies where weight and presence are integral to their character, spanning the waxy complexity of Clynelish, the muscular fruitiness of Mortlach, the oily robustness of Ben Nevis and the unmistakable coastal character of Laphroaig.

Rare Find has selected maturation casks with the aim of enhancing texture, intensifying flavour and drawing out additional layers of complexity from each spirit. First-fill Oloroso sherry casks bring richness, dried fruit and spice, reinforcing the natural weight of the whiskies without overshadowing their individual distillery character. Refill sherry maturation, meanwhile, allows the underlying spirit profile to remain firmly at the forefront.

The resulting collection offers new perspectives on four familiar distilleries, with each cask chosen to complement and elevate the spirit rather than dominate it.

As with all Rare Find releases, the four whiskies are bottled at natural cask strength, with natural colour and without chill filtration.

    56.6% ABV | 167 bottles

  • Laphroaig 14-Year-Old

    54.6% ABV | 268 bottles

Speaking on the new collection, James Zorab for Rare Find, commented: "These are four distilleries that naturally produce whiskies with weight, texture and unmistakable character, so our role was not to overpower those qualities, but to find casks that could further enhance them. From the gentle influence of refill sherry maturation through to the richness brought by first-fill Oloroso, each cask has been selected because it complements what makes the spirit distinctive. Together, they represent what Rare Find is all about - discovering exceptional single casks and utilising thoughtful maturation to reveal new dimensions of already remarkable spirits."
