come away from the Malt Maniacs 2014
Awards with 11 medals this year for its
three whisky brands BenRiach,
GlenDronach and Glenglassaugh.
Leading the way in this years awards was the superb 29 year
old BenRiach 1984 Peated Tawny Port
Finish which picked up a Best Peated
Whisky award.

Delivery Of New Pot Stills
The production of the first Irish
whiskey produced in Dublin in over 125
years got one step closer this week when
the new Teeling Distillery located in
Dublin’s Newmarket in The Liberties took
delivery of three new, handcrafted
copper pot stills.

Work
Begins On The New Macallan
Distillery
Edrington has marked the official
start of works on a £100m iconic new
distillery and visitor centre for
luxury single malt whisky brand The
Macallan. In partnership with Rogers
Stirk Harbour + Partners, Robertson
and Forsyths, the new home of The
Macallan is scheduled to open to the
public in spring 2017.

sustainable environmental project to
increase fish populations in the
Mackalea Burn a tributary of the
River Fiddich. The scheme was led by Scottish charity
the Spey Foundation, in collaboration
with Moray Council and Speyburn.
