Are you

thought that I would give this a quick
mention for those of you who may be looking
to buy a a bottle of Grants Family

father of father-in-law. Grant's have unveiled a special
gift pack which will be in the shops from
this month.
I know this site gets
a lot of visitors from savvy gift buyers
who are looking for recommendations for which
whisky to buy and in my opinion in its price range
Grants Family Reserve is one of the best Scotch blended
whisky's you can buy.
Launched in
time for Fathers Day the special
gift pack is an
attractive red and gold box which
contains a bottle of the classic Grant’s
Family Reserve, the pack gives the whisky a
distinct gift look and
adds a more special feel to it if
you intend to give it as
gift.
The Grant’s whisky gift
packs are available in supermarkets from
this month with a RRP of £17.49 but
knowing the supermarkets you may find it
on offer, supermarket price wars you got
to love them.
Of course it is not all
about looks, what about what's in the
bottle? Well as I said above, in its
price range Grant's Family Reserve is
one of the best Scotch blended whisky's
you can buy.

Family Reserve Tasting Notes:
William
Morrison's Tasting Notes
Nose:
A clean, sweet, fruity, malty nose.
Taste:
A lovely vanilla caramel sweetness
balanced with rich sharp malty notes, a
touch of burnt raisins, some mildly
drying oak.
Finish:
A smooth lingering finish with vanilla,
a touch of caramel and a wee hint of
dark chocolate.
Comment:
This really is a high quality blend for
your money and it has stayed
consistently good over the years and it
remains one of the best blended whiskies
around in this price bracket. Great for for
any occasion including Fathers Day.
