Rare Find
showcases Glenglassaugh's versatility
with trio of single cask releases.

Independent bottler Rare Find has
unveiled a new collection of single cask
whiskies centred on the distinctive
character of Glenglassaugh, with three
limited releases highlighting how
different cask finishes can transform
the coastal Highland distillery's
spirit.
The Edinburgh-based bottler has
continued to build momentum throughout
2026 as demand for its carefully curated
single cask bottlings has grown. Its
latest collection focuses exclusively on
Glenglassaugh, presenting three unique
expressions that demonstrate the
influence of carefully selected
finishing casks while retaining the
distillery's signature character.
Known for a spirit shaped by its coastal
location, Glenglassaugh combines orchard
fruit flavours, honeyed sweetness and a
subtle maritime influence. That
naturally vibrant style provides an
ideal canvas for a range of cask
finishes, allowing different layers of
flavour to emerge without overwhelming
the whisky's underlying identity.
For this collection, Rare Find has
selected three contrasting maturation
journeys. One expression spent 19 months
finishing in a first-fill Foursquare rum
barrel, while two nine-year-old whiskies
were finished for 11 months in
first-fill octaves previously holding
Madeira and ruby port respectively.
Together, the trio illustrates how
different woods can accentuate tropical
fruit, spice or rich berry notes while
preserving the core character of the
spirit.
As with every Rare Find release, the
whiskies are bottled at natural cask
strength, retain their natural colour
and are released without chill
filtration.

Speaking on the

"Glenglassaugh has such a distinctive
spirit style - vibrant, fruit-forward
and with a subtle coastal freshness -
which makes it incredibly exciting to
explore through different cask finishes.
This Collection is about showing the
versatility of that spirit and how
carefully selected wood can reveal
completely different facets of its
character. Together, they represent
exactly what Rare Find seeks to create -
exceptional single casks that offer
something distinctive, memorable and
genuinely worth discovering."
