Highland Park
announce the release of the peatiest
expression of whisky they have ever
released to date, the third and final
expression in the Viking Legend series,
Highland Park Valfather.
 Highland
Park has announced the launch of the
third and final expression in their
special edition Viking Legend series,
Highland Park Valfather, and what
makes Valfather stick out above the
previous two releases in the series is
that Highland Park say that it is the
most peated expression of Highland Park
that they have ever released to date.
Just like the previous releases in the
series, Highland Park Valkyrie back in
2017 and Highland Park Valknut in 2018,
Valfather is a no-age statement whisky
and this expression has been fully matured
in refill casks and bottled at 47% ABV.
Highland Park described Valfather as
having flavours of "Sweet apple,
Fragrant pear, Crème brûlée, Toasted
cedar wood, Smoked paprika and Aromatic
peat smoke" and they say that their most
peated whisky to date delivers a
character as intense and complex as that
of the mightiest Norse god…
As I said bottled at 47% ABV which
should add to the flavour, the
naturally coloured peaty Highland Park
Valfather has a RRP of £60 and will soon be available from specialist online whisky
retailers such as
