William
Morrison's Tasting Notes:
Nose:
Sweet sugared plum and orange blossom,
some gentle vanilla toffee.
Taste:
Orange and raisin infused vanilla toffee
are joined by some sugared almonds.
Finish:
A deliciously sweet lingering raisiny
fruity finish slowly fading into a
gentle mildly drying nutty oakiness.
Comment:
If you are looking for something off of
GlenDronach's more familiar sherry cask
matured
beaten track and you enjoy a mature port
cask matured dram then you really cant
go wrong with this, a deliciously
moreish example of a port cask matured
single malt.
SMW Score
90/100
