Review of the
Noble Rebel Smoke Symphony, as its name
suggest Smoke Symphony is infused with
threads of peat smoke, you will also
find a lovely berry fruitiness thanks to
its finish in Rioja wine casks. A
delicious balance of sugar charged grape
and peat combine to make an outstanding
whisky.
 This is one of a trio of Scotch Blended
Malt Whiskies launched by the Loch
Lomond Group in early 2023 which make up
the Noble Rebel Scotch Blended Malt
Whisky range. At the heart of Noble
Rebel blended malt whiskies are a blend
of single malt whiskies which have been
distilled at the Loch Lomond and Glen
Scotia distilleries as well as whiskies
from some undisclosed trusted partners
of the Loch Lomond Group.
As its name suggest Noble Rebel Smoke Symphony
is infused with threads of peat smoke,
you will also find a lovely berry
fruitiness thanks to its finish in Rioja
wine casks.
Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill
filtered and naturally coloured.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: A
deliciously enticing nose, juicy wine
soaked raisins and sultanas infused with
some lovely sweet vanilla and bonfire
peat smoke, some distant wood spice.
Taste: Absolutely
delicious, mild bonfire peat
smoke piggy backing on delicious sugars
and infused with ripe red berry fruits
and a hint of rich oaky spice, the
delicious sugars
are kept in place by the oak. Some late
pepper.
Finish: A
wonderful long rich sweet, peaty, fruity finish
eventually bitters out leaving some mildly drying
oak and spice.
Comment:
A delicious balance of sugar charged
grape and peat combine to make an
outstanding whisky. Whether you are a
seasoned peaty whisky fan or you are new
to it this is one to try.
