Athol 13 Year Old Highland single malt
Scotch whisky which has been finished in
a single Sangiovese Italian Red Wine
cask.

Laing & Co. has unveiled a new release:
a Blair Athol 13 Year Old Highland
Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This special
edition, the second release in their
exclusive Old Particular Red Wine Cask
collection, has been finished in a
single Sangiovese Red Wine cask.
Each whisky in this collection is
carefully chosen to complement and
enhance the unique qualities of the
selected malt, adding complexity and
depth to create exciting new flavour
profiles.
For this second release, the journey
continues into Italy, with the
Sangiovese Red Wine Cask sourced from
sunnier regions. The rich and intricate
nature of Sangiovese is said to
harmonise with Blair Athol's depth,
offering tasting notes of "dark
cherries, dried fruits, spiced oak, and
sweet vanilla."
Old Particular Red Wine Cask Collection
Blair Athol 13 Year Old has been bottled
at 48.4% ABV, naturally coloured and non
chill filtered, it has a RRP of £96.00
and will be available from specialist online whisky
