UK-wide cocktail competition 'Shake The
Farm 2024', and they
are asking you to get creative with
their newly released Kilchoman Batch
Strength.

Distillery has introduced its inaugural
UK-wide cocktail competition.
In celebration of the recent launch of
their outstanding new whisky expression
–
Kilchoman Batch Strength,
the farm distillery is presenting an
exciting challenge for UK bartenders,
create a cocktail containing the new
Kilchoman Batch Strength whisky.
Dubbed "Shake the Farm," this
competition invites participants to vie
for a chance to win an
all-expenses-paid, four-day, hands-on
apprenticeship at the distillery on
Islay. Additionally, the overall winner
will have the exclusive opportunity to
select a single cask bottling and take
home six bottles of this unique
creation.
In line with Kilchoman's ethos,
bartenders are tasked with crafting a
cocktail that beautifully showcases both
Kilchoman Batch Strength whisky and a
British farmed or foraged ingredient.
This competition is open to all
bartenders throughout the UK, inviting
them to blend their creativity with the
essence of Kilchoman's exceptional Batch
Strength whisky.
There is a set of easy rules to follow:

 Cocktails must contain a minimum
of 25ml of Kilchoman Batch Strength
whisky.
- Drinks must not contain more
than 6 ingredients (excluding
garnish).
- The use of homemade ingredients
is greatly encouraged but not
necessary.
- The recipe must contain one
British farmed or foraged
ingredient.
- Entries must be submitted before
June 16th
This competition
will unfold in three distinct stages.
Initially, participants are invited to
submit their recipes via a link provided
below. Subsequently, participants will
be chosen for three regional heats
across the UK based on criteria such as
creativity, expertise, and ingredient
selection.
These three heats will ultimately decide
the finalists of the inaugural "Shake
the Farm" cocktail competition, with one
finalist emerging from each heat.
