add a a 25 Year Old expression to their
core range line-up.
 Loch
Lomond Whiskies has introduced a new 25
Year Old malt whisky, the latest gem in
the brand's expanding collection.
The Loch Lomond 25 Year Old is a tribute
to the distillery's exceptional and
rather unique straight neck stills and
the mastery of the whisky-making team in
crafting distinct flavours through their
expertise in distillation and
maturation.
Overseeing the meticulous maturation
process is Loch Lomond Whiskies' master
blender, Michael Henry, who has been
with the distillery since 2007. Michael
has skillfully combined three distinct
spirits from the unique straight neck
pot stills, each with its own flavour
profile and strength, to create a
single, harmonious expression.
Each whisky has spent a quarter of a
century maturing in first-fill, refill,
and recharred American oak casks, before
being carefully married to produce the
Loch Lomond 25 Year Old. The outcome,
they describe as, a luxurious, intricate
whisky that proudly showcases Loch
Lomond's signature style of fruity
notes, honey sweetness, and subtle
smoke.
This latest expression has drawn its
rich flavours from extensive maturation
in the distillery's traditional onsite
cooperage, a process honed over a
quarter-century. As one of only four
distilleries in Scotland with its own
cooperage, Loch Lomond Whiskies ensures
precise barrel repairs and charring,
guaranteeing that each cask is ideal for
nurturing whisky.
Since its inception in 1966, Loch Lomond
Distillery has championed innovation. It
houses Scotland's only set of straight
neck pot stills, enabling Michael Henry
and his team to carefully shape the
whisky's character during distillation,
resulting in a lighter spirit with a
distinctive fruity essence.
Presented in a charcoal blue display
case inspired by the colours of Loch
Lomond, the packaging for Loch Lomond 25
Year Old is adorned with copper foil
accents, a nod to the distillery's
unique straight neck pot stills. Each
case and bottle proudly displays Michael
Henry's signature, representing the
culmination of a quarter-century of
dedication and expertise.

filtered, bottled at 46% ABV and has a
