Jura unveils
a 15 Year Old single first fill bourbon
cask matured single malt as their
special whisky to commemorate this
year’s Fèis Ìle festival.
Jura Distillery
has unveiled their rare Limited Edition
single malt whisky release to
commemorate this year’s Fèis Ìle
festival, an event that attracts whisky
enthusiasts from around the world to
experience the whisky-making traditions
of Islay and Jura.
The Jura Fèis Ìle 2024 bottling was distilled on 23 October 2008
then fully matured for 15 years in a
single First
Fill Bourbon cask no. 1605 and bottled at 55.5%
ABV on 15 April 2024 and with fewer than 200 bottles
produced, this extremely limited edition
will be exclusively available to
visitors to the Jura Distillery during
Fèis Ìle.
Jura whisky embodies the deep connection
between this Scottish island, its
residents, and the distillery. The Fèis
Ìle release celebrates this unique,
close-knit community and the exceptional
whisky crafted here.
Joe Ricketts, Whisky Maker, commented:
"In this release for Fèis Ìle we’ve
created a fantastic bottling that really
showcases the distillery’s character. On
the nose, Jura’s characteristic flavour
come together – fruity notes of citrus
peels and peach alongside mineral, oily
characteristics that capture the coastal
environment and a hint of toasted
cereal.
"On the palate, peach crumble, vanilla
pod and a slight zing of preserved
lemon, rounding off with subtle mineral
notes together with gorse flower,
spearmint and Williams pear."

each visitor, which is why this release
is exclusively available to those that
join us for our whisky festival. Jura
quietly makes brilliant whisky. This
release is no exception, celebrating the
start of the summer with its fruity,

with friends and family. With our whisky
we want to offer as many people as
possible a truly unique flavour of our
island home, and we feel this Fèis Ìle
release does exactly this."
