bottling of its Epicurean Lowland
blended malt Scotch whisky, The
Epicurean Finished in Calvados Casks.

Laing has unveiled the latest Limited
Edition release from their Epicurean
Lowland blended malt Scotch whisky, The
Epicurean Finished in Calvados Casks.
The Epicurean Calvados Limited Edition
is a distinctive blend that harmonises
the floral Lowland Malts of Scotland
with the orchard flavours of Calvados
from Normandy, Northern France. This
rare release, with only 1,800 bottles
available globally, is described as a
"celebration of tradition, innovation,
and exceptional craftsmanship."
Bottled at 48% ABV, the Calvados
influence is said to enhance The
Epicurean's already fresh, vibrant, and
citrusy character, taking it to new
heights. Douglas Laing tells me that
whisky enthusiasts will appreciate the
rich layers imparted by the wood, which
has created a symphony of crisp apple
notes, succulent pears, and warm toffee
undertones.
Douglas Laing say: "The Epicurean
Calvados Limited Edition greets the
palate with fresh, vibrant, and citrusy
notes, followed by the crispness of
apple drops, the sweetness of juicy
pears, and the comforting warmth of
toffee undertones".
