The
Distillers One of One charity auction
has set the date for its third auction.
The Distillers One of One Charity
Auction is set to return to Hopetoun
House in Scotland for its third edition
in partnership with Sotheby’s on 10th
October 2025.
This exclusive auction, which attracts
collectors of fine and rare whisky from
around the world, offers the chance to
acquire unique pieces of whisky history.
So far, the event has set 37 global
auction records, with 19 broken in 2023
and 18 in 2021.
Unlike other auctions in the rare
spirits category, 100% of the proceeds
go directly to charity, primarily
benefiting the Youth Action Fund. To
date, £4.3 million has been raised to
support disadvantaged young people in
Scotland.
With over 35 confirmed donors this year,
including several exciting new
participants, collectors are eagerly
awaiting the unveiling of the 2025
auction lots. The offerings, contributed
by 43 donors so far, span the entire
Scotch Whisky industry. Each lot is a
unique, one-of-a-kind creation, often
crafted in collaboration with artists or
master artisans, providing a rare
opportunity not only for whisky
enthusiasts but also for collectors of
art and luxury items.

Bidders from 21 countries have taken
part in the auction to date, with most
lots being won by those attending in
person at Hopetoun House, allowing them
to experience the groundbreaking event
firsthand.
Having engaged over 2,000 young people
and transformed the life prospects of
more than 1,380 individuals, the
Distillers One of One Auction showcases
the remarkable impact that can be
achieved when the Scotch Whisky industry
and its partners come together in
collaboration.
Notable sponsors returning for the 2025
auction include Glencairn Crystal,
Mclaren Packaging, and Simpsons Malt and
I am am sure there will be some
incredible whiskies up for auction once
again all in aid of charity.
