Review of Jameson Signature from Jameson Heritage Whiskey Series.
Jameson Signature is not a new whiskey more a repackaging of an existing travel retail favourite of mine. Jameson Signature is now part of the
Jameson Heritage Whiskey Series, a range of premium Irish Whiskeys.
Jameson Signature is a triple-distilled Irish Whiskey that bears the signature of John Jameson, a mark of quality that has appeared since the early days of the Bow Street Distillery, when all casks were signed off by John Jameson. The expression celebrates this tradition and the generations of meticulously transcribed distillers’ notebooks, a sign that attention to detail remains at the heart of Jameson. Jameson Signature is a commitment from the brand to uphold the founder’s core values of craftsmanship and quality.
Jameson Signature was bottled at 40% ABV and will be available in Global Travel Retail with an RRP of £30/€40 or local equivalent for a 70cl bottle.

Morrison's Tasting Notes:
Nose: A little honey and vanilla sweetness, some mild dried fruit and coconut, distant pot still spices.
Taste: The honey from the nose leads accompanied by some creamy vanilla toffee, coconut and some lovely oils carrying some wonderful delicate spices, some apple and raisin from the sherry cask.
Finish: A lovely longish finish, a little touch of sherried fruit, the honey and toffee fade leaving some wonderful delicate fizzy oak spices, a little nuttiness.
Comment: Another delicious quality easy to drink Jameson blended whiskey, normally found on shelves at airports and certainly worth seeking out when on your travels.
