Review of Jameson Lively from Jameson The Deconstructed Series.
Originally launched in October 2015, Jameson Lively is one of a trio of travel retail exclusive Irish blended whiskey's which together form
The Deconstructed Series.
Jameson Lively
influenced by grain whiskey, Jameson say that it offers an elegant and floral taste combined with a citrus lightness. Its soft and sweet taste, provided by the perfume bon bons alongside turkish delight, combines with drying hints of citrus to balance the sweetness. A little chilli oil brings a prickle of spices to the mouth.
Jameson Lively was bottled at 40% ABV and will be available in Global Travel Retail with an RRP of £27.50/€36 or local equivalent for a 70cl bottle.

Morrison's Tasting Notes:
Nose: A little shy to reveal itself, charred oak, behind it some very distant lemon citrus, a little floral laced vanilla.
Taste: Dates and a nuttiness lead, a little orange and lemon citrus which becomes a little zesty, a very mild vanilla sweetness, some vibrant spice.
Finish: Long, tongue tingling spices continue to entertain long into the finish with a mild pot still fruitiness hovering in the background.
Comment: Shy on the nose, this is all about the taste and finish. I was expecting something much sweeter given it is supposed to have a a big grain whiskey influence.
