Thanks William, the Deanston 2002 sounds right up my street, I've had some great sherried Deanstons before.

Good to see Distell doing these, all tempting particularly the Deanston's and I would love to try the Ledaig. I wouldn't have minded a couple more offerings from Tobermory and Ledaig amongst the release, perhaps younger and priced similarly to the younger Deanston and Bunna's in the release.

Have these ever become available anywhere? Or have they already come and gone? I've been checking shops every day but no sign.

I don't think they have been available yet, at least I haven't spotted them as I have been watching.

I haven't saw any available anywhere yet, I remember they were slow to appear in shops last year when they released the first Distell malt collection, I thought I had missed them then.

So it's not looking good for these bottles' general availability - TWE just told me "The Supply Chain Team has informed us that, as the items are limited, we are not entirely sure how many bottle are we going to receive and when."

Too late, my whisky budget is already gone for the month. I really don't see the point of having a press release three months before they sneak on to the shelves - I had completely forgotten about them.

I did suspect it would be around September as this was when last years releases hit the shelves.
I cant see the Bunna expressions in the shops, perhaps they sold out already, but it was the Deanston and Ledaig expressions which impressed me most. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |

I quite fancy treating myself to the Ledaig, but it seems finding it is going to be a bit of a mission!

Just looking, I can find the Tobermory 19 on Master of Malt. Interestingly, they claim it's a run of 1134 bottles whereas the article here says 211!
