The new Grant’s Elementary Range has
been available at global travel retail
outlets since the beginning of January
2016. William Grant & Sons has partnered
with Lagardère Travel Retail to launch
the new collection in key French
airports. The new range, which is
exclusive to premium travel retail
stores, has been available in Paris
Charles de Gaulle, Paris Orly, and Nice
airports since the 19th January.
Currently
only Grant's 6 Year Old Carbon and
Grant’s 8 Year Oxygen are available to
purchase, but any travellers passing
through the three airports will get a
sneak preview of Grant's Copper 29 Year
Old, which is due to be released for
purchase later this year.

Dependent on which airport you are
passing through you will either be
greeted by a Grant’s branded Wall and
Bar, an Elementary Mixology Mobile
Trolley or an Elementary Tasting Table.
Each experience will give you the chance
to learn about the three elements and
the roles they play in creating the
unique flavours in the whiskies that
comprise the range. The whole
presentation at the airport is designed
to create an authentic laboratory feel,
there is even an enthusiastic mixologist
dressed in an Elementary branded lab
coat and a variety of scientific
equipment. Of course, most importantly
there is also the opportunity to take
part in an individual tasting
experiment.

The new range
was developed by an expert team led by renowned Master Blender, Brian Kinsman, each of the individual Grant’s Elementary expressions champion a critical element of the whisky making process. Each blend explores the impact of carbon, oxygen and copper on our whisky, and its age statement relates to its position in the Periodic Table of Elements.
