Glengoyne Burnfoot Review & Tasting Notes

The Glengoyne Burnfoot was first released in 2007 and is exclusive to travel retail. Burnfoot was the original name given to the distillery before it changed to Glengoyne in 1908.

Burnfoot is a no age statement entry level expression of Glengoyne that represents an interesting cross section of the Glengoyne character. Its high percentage of first fill sherry casks offers a slightly smoother, sweeter taste than certain other variants in the Glengoyne range, but at the same time retains the distinctive qualities and depth of the whisky.

Citrus zest, warm honeycomb and gentle cinnamon.

Bottled at 40% ABV and like all of Glengoyne's single malts it has no added colouring as it gets its natural colouring from the time it spent maturing in the oak casks.
