unveil the second seasonal cask
strength winter warmer from their
Scallywag Speyside blended malt whisky
range.

is a limited edition winter warmer
for the fans of Douglas Laing's
Scallywag Speyside blended malt whisky
amongst you, the Glasgow based whisky
blender and bottler has unveiled the
second Scallywag Cask Strength Winter
Limited Edition bottling, following the
inaugural release in 2020.
The seasonal release is strictly limited
to just 4,200 bottles globally. Matured
exclusively in a combination of Oloroso
and Pedro Ximinéz Sherry butts and
offered at a flavoursome natural cask
strength of 53.1% ABV, and as you would
expect from Douglas Laing it is
naturally coloured and non
chill-filtered. Scallywag Cask Strength
Winter Limited Edition is described as
having "“bold notes of juicy dates, rich
toffee sauce and warming spices."
And once again those festive folks at Douglas Laing
have had the knitting needles out, each
bottle of this seasonal limited edition
Scallywag Winter Edition 2021 release
is presented in a mini, Santa-like,
woollen hat; a "fun addition" that the
firm says renders it "the ultimate gift
for the season of giving" and it will go
well with the rather festive looking
scarf which adorned
last years release.
