Pittyvaich distillery was built in 1975
by Arthur Bell & Sons Ltd. It then came
under the control of UDV. Pittivaich was
a very modern high-tech distillery, and
most of the whisky produced their went
into the blends of the UDV group. In
1993, Pittyvaich distillery was closed
and completely dismantled so it is very
unlikely that it will ever open again.
Original bottlings are available in UDV's
Single malt Flora & Fauna Series and
there are a few bottlings
available from independent bottlers.

Amber-red.
Nose:
Smooth and sweet. Perfumed, sherry,
citrus fruits. Spicy dryness.
Taste:
Sherry and reveals malt and vanilla.
Finish:
Long, spicy, vanilla.
