New travel
retail exclusive Jura Sherry Collection
is said to represent the introduction of
a new signature style for the island
distillery.

The
Isle of Jura distillery has unveiled its
first travel retail exclusive whisky
range, the Jura Sherry Collection, a
range of four whiskies which is set to
be rolled out in Global Travel Retail
from April 2018.
The new Jura Sherry Collection is said
to represent the introduction of a new
signature style for Jura, the complete
range which will comprise of four single
malt whiskies which have all been
enhanced in Sherry casks that previously
held Pedro Ximénez, and it is also the
first ever dedicated GTR range for Jura.
The Jura Sherry Cask Collection
will feature:
Jura The
Sound
The Sound single malt was matured in
American White Oak ex-bourbon barrels
and enhanced with a sweet finish from
hand-selected Sherry casks which
previously held fifteen year old Pedro
Ximénez.
Described as antique gold in
colour with aromas of hazelnuts and
orange; caramel fudge to taste; and
black forest fruits to finish.
Jura The Sound will be presented in a 1
litre bottle and bottled at 42.5% ABV
and will have a RRP of £45.00
Jura The Road
The
Road single malt was matured in American
White Oak ex-bourbon barrels and
enhanced with a warm finish from
hand-selected Sherry casks which
previously held twenty year old Pedro
Ximénez.
Described as autumn gold in
colour with aromas of fresh apricots;
rich coffee to taste; and cinnamon to
finish.
Jura The Road will be presented in a 1
litre bottle and bottled at 43.6% ABV
and will have a RRP of £60.00
Jura The Loch
The Loch single malt was matured in
American White Oak ex-bourbon barrels
and enhanced with a rich finish from
hand-selected Sherry casks which
previously held thirty year old Pedro
Ximénez.
Described as mahogany gold in
colour with aromas of treacle; baked
apple, to taste; and cracked pepper to
finish.
Jura The Loch will be presented in a
70cl bottle and bottled at 44.5% ABV and
will have a RRP of £70.00
Jura The Paps
19 Year Old
The Paps 19 Year Old single malt was
matured in American White Oak ex-bourbon
barrels and enhanced with a complex
finish from hand-selected Sherry casks
which previously held forty year old
Pedro Ximénez.
Described as deep
mahogany gold in colour with aromas of
ginger cake and vanilla; spiced pear to
taste; roasted walnut to finish.
Jura The Paps 19 Year Old will be
presented in a 70cl bottle and bottled
at 45.6% ABV and will have a RRP of
£85.00
The new Jura Sherry Collection will be
bottled in a taller, new bottle shape
and will be presented in a sturdier,
more premium and contemporary carton
design adorned with striking photography
which captures the unique geography and
character of the single malt’s island
home.
