Johnnie
Walker marks its 200th Anniversary with
new limited edition packaging for its
iconic Johnnie Walker Gold Label, Black
Label 12 Year Old and Red Label Scotch
blended whiskies.

Following on from the announcement at
the end of last month of
four new Johnnie Walker releases
that celebrate 200 years since the
whisky maker’s founder, John Walker,
first threw open the doors to a small
grocery store in Kilmarnock Scotland,
the maker of the world’s most popular
Scotch whisky brand has unveiled new
look packaging, for a limited period,
for the three best selling drams in its
core range, the iconic Johnnie Walker
Gold Label, Black Label 12 Year Old and
Red Label Scotch blended whiskies.
The 200th anniversary packaged bottles
are presented in block-colour bottles,
which are a bold reimagining of its
classic glass bottle – each variant
named after its iconic slanted label,
now replaced by a striking opaque wrap.
The new designs radically reimagine the
brand’s ‘Keep Walking’ mantra,
celebrating the boundary-pushing spirit
that has been at the heart of the brand
since its founder John Walker first
opened the doors to a small grocery
store in Kilmarnock, Scotland 200 years
ago. The renowned whiskies inside the
bottles remain unchanged – testament to
the brand’s dedication to quality and
flavour, now enjoyed by people in over
180 countries worldwide.
Ali Reynolds, Johnnie Walker’s GB Brand
Ambassador, said: "These limited-edition
bottles give a bold new look to our most
iconic whiskies and perfectly celebrate
Johnnie Walker’s depth of character as
we celebrate this incredible 200-year
milestone.
"This striking new design is sure to
stand-out on shelf and appeal to both
enthusiasts and those who are new to the
Scotch scene. The new bottles also make
an ideal option for gifting occasions as
we showcase the innovative brand ethos
and open the doors to a new generation
of whisky drinkers."
The new limited-edition packs along with
the current Johnnie Walker range are now
available to purchase in all major
retailers and from specialist online
whisky retailers such as
The Whisky Exchange,
The Whisky Shop and
Master of Malt
