Kilchoman are set to release their first limited editions of the year; 2018 editions of Loch Gorm and Port Cask Matured will be available worldwide from Monday 23rd of April.

Traditionally the spring has seen the Islay distillery release their 100% Islay and Loch Gorm expressions, however this year sees the iconic 100% Islay moved to an autumn release with the much-anticipated Port Cask Matured taking its place.

This is the 2nd Port Cask matured whisky from the Islay farm distillery and given the quality of the first release back in 2014 this has a lot to live up to. I was lucky enough to taste both of these new releases and can saying the Port Cask Matured is once again outstanding. Follow the links below for my reviews

Cheers William, the port cask sounds good, l missed the first port cask release, I only caught the good reviews after it had sold out. I will definitely have a bottle of this one.

Intrigued by the port cask. The last lot of Benriach single cask releases had a 12 year peated port cask which was, frankly, the best combination of peat + port I've had. It was so well balanced I ended up picking up a load of them.

Master of Malt now have the Kilchoman Port Cask Matured and Loch Gorm 2018 in stock if anyone is interested, the Port Cask is limited to one bottle per customer and may not be around long.
