Tomatin
unveils 10 Year Old Bourbon-Matured
Single Malt which will be available from
supermarkets and Amazon.
 With
Christmas fast approaching,
Highland distiller Tomatin has
introduced a new 10 Year Old single malt
Scotch whisky, the Tomatin 10 Year Old
Bourbon Cask as its name suggests was matured exclusively in
bourbon casks and the new dram has been crafted specifically
for the grocery and convenience sectors.
Available from this month in Waitrose
and on Amazon, Tomatin 10 Year Old
Bourbon Cask Matures is said to offer an
accessible taste of luxury, combining
the distillery’s renowned Highland
character with an appealing price point.
Bottled at 40% ABV and retailing at £42
(I am sure we may see it on offer on the
run up to Christmas),
the release strengthens Tomatin’s
growing presence in the UK grocery
market while introducing a new aged
single malt to the range.
The launch follows the success of
Tomatin Double Cask, which debuted
earlier this year in Tesco and on Amazon
and is now being rolled out across
export markets. The updated packaging
for Tomatin’s supermarket range has been
designed to enhance on-shelf visibility
and appeal in both grocery and
convenience environments, so you should
spot it easily.

to our cask choice. It’s impossible to
hide a bad whisky in a bourbon barrel,
and the art of maturation in these very

experimenting with different cask types
and appreciating the range of flavours
which can be crafted through maturation,
Tomatin 10 Year Old is exquisite in its
simplicity. As a distillery, we do
bourbon very well, and we’re proud to
release this exceptional whisky.”

Tomatin Double Cask, has been developed

Those of you familiar with the Tomatin
range will know many Tomatin whiskies mature in
sherry, port, or wine casks, so the new Tomatin 10
Year Old certainly stands apart as an exclusively
bourbon-matured expression, aged for a
full decade to create a sweet, fruity,
and buttery profile crafted to appeal to
both loyal fans and curious newcomers.
The whisky is said to open with aromas of lemon
sherbet and crisp green apples, followed
by notes of buttery croissants, white
chocolate, and macadamia nuts. On the
palate, lemon meringue pie, honey, and
toffee are layered with apricot and
peach, leading to a clean, fresh finish.
Presented in a premium 70cl bottle,
Tomatin 10 Year Old features refreshed
ochre-accented packaging inspired by oak
tree rings – a symbol of the
distillery’s wood policy and its
enduring commitment to cask provenance
and craftsmanship.
I haven't had the chance to taste it yet so I
cant comment on its quality, if you want
to taste it for yourself you will soon
find it on super market shelves
