Tamdhu
release a limited edition Single Cask
whisky to mark the brand's 125th
anniversary.
 Tamdhu
distillery has released a special
limited-edition Single Cask expression
which was selected by the Tamdhu
‘Dedication Society’ to mark the brand's
125th anniversary.
Following a comprehensive tasting with
input from Dedication Society Members
and Tamdhu's Distillery Manager, Sandy
McIntyre, Single Cask No: 5982 was
chosen - a first fill European Oak
Sherry Butt which produced just 640
bottles.
Tamdhu 2003 Single Cask No. 5982 125th
Anniversary Bottling was distilled on
the 21st November 2003, the Dedication
Society Single Cask has notes of warm
vanilla on the nose, accompanied with
stewed apples, treacle glaze, liquorice
and waves of sherry.
On the palate, expect a full and
balanced mouthful of spiced fruit loaf,
plum jam, and perfectly balanced dark
chocolate. The whisky delivers a warm
and lingering finish with dried fruits
and soft spice and - of course -
unmistakable sherry notes.

Manager, said: "For our 125th
anniversary, it was imperative that we
consulted our most devout fans to bottle
a single cask that celebrates Tamdhu’s
rich history, and toasts to its exciting
future.
"The result, after much deliberation, is
this Dedication Society bottling. As a
whisky, it embodies all that is good
about our distillation style and our
dedication to full sherry maturation."
Tamdhu Dedication Society Single Cask
2003 has been bottled at 55.4% ABV and
has a RRP of £349 and will only be
available to buy from the Tamdhu store.
