Redbreast
receive a staggering 7,400 ballot
entries for a chance to get hold of one
of 912 bottles of the new Redbreast
Dream Cask 28 Year Old Ruby Port
Edition.
Irish Distillers have been more than
well aware of the popularity of their
first two Redbreast Dream Cask releases,
so to make it fair to all Irish whiskey
fans they decided to launch their latest
Redbreast Dream Cask expression via a
ballot system for the first time through
Redbreast’s Birdhouse online members’
club to mark World Whiskey Day 2020.
With 912 bottles of the new Redbreast
Dream Cask 28 Year Old Ruby Port Edition
up for grabs even Irish Distillers were
taken aback with the amount of interest
in the latest Dream Cask expression
which received a staggering 7,400
entries into the ballot from whiskey
fans from around the world, and the fact
that it carries a price tag of €490 for
the 50cl bottle also tells you just how
highly whiskey fans and no doubt
collectors and sadly flippers rate the
Dream Cask expressions.
If you were not one of the lucky ones in
the ballot there is still a chance to
grab a bottle, in fact, bottle number
one, which will be auctioned off by the
Celtic Whiskey Shop in Dublin, with all
proceeds going to a very good cause
