The Millburn distillery was founded in
1892 and was originally known as the Inverness Distillery.
In 1892, Millburn was acquired by A. Haig
& Company. Then in 1921 the distillery was acquired
by the gin producer Booth's Distillery Ltd.
It was extensively damaged by fire in 1922.
It was then taken over by Distillers Company Ltd in 1937,
who rebuilt it. Sadly the distillery was
mothballed in 1985 and the site was
demolished for a property development in
1988.
There is still official
bottlings available
in the "Rare Malts Series", and you will
also find it available from independent
bottlers.

Notes:
This full gold Highland malt's
characteristic peppery aroma introduces
a big, satisfying, mature yet supple
