premier HR Industry Awards with Sam Kirk

prestigious awards at the 16th annual HR
NETWORK National Awards, a significant
event for HR professionals in Scotland.
The gala dinner, held at the Glasgow
Hilton on November 9th, recognised and
honoured outstanding contributions to
the Scottish HR profession.
At the event, Human Capital (HC)
Director Sam Kirk and her team received
recognition in two esteemed categories.
Sam Kirk was named HR Director of the
Year for her pioneering role within
International Beverage, where she
actively contributes to the company's
dynamic growth agenda and fosters
innovation to maximise the potential of
its workforce, always maintaining
integrity and compassion.
Furthermore, the HC team secured the
Health and Wellbeing Award of the Year
for their proactive 'Sustaining Our
People' program at International
Beverage. Judges acknowledged this
program as a significant advancement in
HR planning within the spirits industry,
emphasising the belief that each
individual is unique and that fostering
connections, understanding, and support
is crucial for cultivating a happy work
environment.
The HR NETWORK judging panel, comprised
of industry experts, commended the
International Beverage HC team for their
exceptional levels of innovation and
commitment. They recognised the team's
role in supporting the company's current
growth plans and driving a dynamic
change program across all business
teams.
Having been shortlisted for four awards,
Sam Kirk – who is based at the company’s
Airdrie headquarters – was thrilled by
the evening’s results. She commented:
