William Morrison's Tasting Notes:

Nose: A lovely icing sugared sweetness, a little orange oil, a touch of coconut, a gentle distant heather honeyed smoke and a wee touch of pepper.

Taste: Barley sugared almond and raisin with a mild honey smoked edge leads, a tinge of liquorice, a little pepper, a touch of vanilla, oak spiced orange and lemon citrus, some coconut.

Finish: Deliciously long, the barley sugars, almond, fruit, gentle honeyed smoke and oak tussle it out before bowing out to leave some lingering peppery oak spice and a lovely wee tinge of liquorice.

Comment: Smooth and delicious, a perfect balance of gentle honey smoked sherry and bourbon cask Highland Park and the cask strength simply adds to the flavour pleasure, an outstanding Highland Park. Highly recommend!

SMW Score 94/100
