Haig Club
give their Clubman single grain whisky a
new look for Christmas 2020.

Christmas fast approaching, Haig Club,
Diageo’s Single Grain Scotch Whisky,

David Beckham, has launched a
new limited-edition Haig Club Clubman

A brand first, the new bottle brings a
festive twist to the Haig Club Clubman’s

imagery. Featuring the same iconic Haig
Club Clubman liquid, the limited-edition
bottle design aims to tap into the festive
gifting moment.
Ellie Deans, Haig Club Brand Manager at
Diageo, said: "Each year, Christmas
represents endless opportunities for
retailers to create excitement and drive
sales and with this year’s Christmas set
to be noticeably different, the power of
a gift has never been so important as
people look to connect with friends and
family at a distance.
"Since launching five years ago, Haig
Club has helped to define a new era in
whisky and attract a new demographic of
whisky drinkers to the category. With
its smooth, light flavour and striking

Haig Club Clubman Review

William
Morrison's Tasting Notes:
Nose: A gentle Kentucky Bourbon
character with a lovely balance of mild
coconut sweetness and creamy vanilla
toffee.
Taste: The delivery
brings the sweet coconut and vanilla
toffee from the nose all between layers
of lovely mild fizzy oak spices. Just a
touch of honey and orange citrus in the
background
Finish: A longish length
finish. The vanilla sweetness and oak
spice slowly fade leaving a touch of
citrusy orange and a little pepper.
Mildly drying.
Comment:
Single grain whisky really is the sleeping gentle
giant of Scotch whisky and it is good to see Diageo trying to awaken this giant.
The Clubman really is an ultra smooth and very easy
to drink whisky full of the subtle
single grain character you would expect.
Perfect for anyone new to whisky and at
the same time a great dramming whisky
for us old hands and sensibly priced at
£25 a bottle and I am sure we will see it
on offer at this time of year.
Clubman has just the slightest hint of young spirit but that can be overlooked at this price, I suspect this easy drinking single grain will be popular.
