Glengoyne
announce the
release Batch 9 in their
Cask Strength series that has matured in
a combination of American and European
oak, comprising of First-Fill Oloroso
Sherry, Bourbon, and Refill Casks.
Glengoyne has announced the release of
the next instalment in their popular
bottled straight from the cask, Cask
Strength Series, next up we have
Glengoyne Cask Strength Batch No. 009.
Glengoyne Cask Strength Batch 9 has been
fully matured in a combination of
American and European oak, comprising of
First-Fill Oloroso Sherry, Bourbon, and
Refill Casks. The result Glengoyne tells
me is "a vibrant and decadent whisky
that truly brings the best out of each
cask".
Batch 9 has a Cask Strength of 59.6% ABV
and is said to deliver an undiluted and
uninterrupted dram typical of the
Highland distillers’ signature style.
