distillery unveils Batch 3 of their
GlenAllachie 30 Year Old Cask Strength
single malt whisky.
 The
GlenAllachie today has unveiled the
latest addition to its prestigious core
range collection: The GlenAllachie 30
Year Old Cask Strength Batch 3, which
represents the epitome of the
distillery's craft and exclusivity.
Guided by the experienced hands of
whisky maestro Billy Walker, who
celebrated his 50th anniversary in the
industry last year, The GlenAllachie has
garnered immense global acclaim for its
previous releases in this vintage
series, captivating whisky enthusiasts
worldwide.
Limited to a mere 2,400 bottles on a
global scale, Batch 3, with a UK RRSP of
£670, is elegantly presented in a
luxurious royal blue box adorned with
gold foil accents and embraced by soft
suedette cushioning.
Drawing upon the finest casks, the third
instalment in this series brings
together Speyside single malt from the
early 1990s, aged in a harmonious fusion
of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry
hogsheads, complemented by the influence
of carefully selected American virgin
oak casks.
Renowned for its unwavering commitment
to quality, The GlenAllachie's extensive
inventory of over 50,000 casks housed
within 16 on-site warehouses provided an
exceptional range of whiskies to choose
from. Expert blender Billy Walker
handpicked each cask, ensuring only the
finest and most exceptional whiskies
were chosen for this exquisite release.
Renowned as the epitome of indulgence
shaped by Sherry maturation, this scarce
Scotch whisky is said to exude a flavour
profile that delights the senses with
opulent notes of velvety espresso,
luscious hazelnuts draped in chocolate,
subtle hints of grated ginger, and the
comforting essence of stewed plums.
Masterfully crafted by the skilled hands
of Walker, this singular expression of
single malt whisky embodies a distinct
elegance. Bottled at its natural cask
strength of 48.9% ABV, it remains
unadulterated by artificial colouring
and unchill filtered, allowing its
authentic character to shine through.

super-premium whisky, Walker reflects:

Nose: Bursting
with roasted almonds, honey and orchard
fruits, with hints of worn leather and
