Douglas Laing has just released the third release in their The Epicurean Wood Series, The Epicurean Rivesaltes Finish which has as its title tells you matured in a Rivesaltes wine cask, a wine which I am sure even many wine drinkers are unfamiliar with which is no surprise as the wine gets little or no press, although it is considered a hidden gem of a wine often described as a three-way cross between sherry, port, and Madeira wine.
