|
|
Glengoyne is giving its whisky fans the opportunity to select the next single cask, single malt whisky which they will bottle. The distillery is inviting fans to take part in a special livestream on Friday 28th August - where they can not only sample some rare casks, but ultimately decide which go into the distillery’s latest ‘Cask of the Moment’ single cask bottling. Sample packs are priced at £50

I've seen this - bit pricey but tempting. I'd definitely be on it if it wasn't for the Port and Madeira casks. I'm happy to have my biases proven wrong but maybe not for £50!

Now sold out but I imagine so, just like other items from the Glengoyne shop. |

| I got myself a set, I don't mind a good Port or Madeira cask, hopefully they are. |

Do let us know your impressions - the best Glengoyne I ever had was from a 12 year-old refill bourbon cask so I'd be interested to hear about the refill and the bourbon ones especially.
People overall tend to prefer bigger and bolder flavours, so it'll be interesting to see which cask is selected. I know I'll be surprised if it's the refill one. |
