The Glenlivet Spectra is the latest release in the mysterious and so far highly rated single malt whisky series from the Speyside distillery. This time though as its name suggests, 'Spectra', the distillery hasn't released just one single malt whisky but a trio of mysterious single malts without any tasting notes, age statement or information on the casks the Spectra trio of whiskies were matured in
Spectra is 3 X 20cl bottles priced at £105 for the set and is now available from Master of Malt

Its a shame they bottled these Spectra whiskies at 40%, they may still be very good but I think I will risk holding out for some reviews before parting with £105 |

I was hoping to see some reviews of this on MoM but nothing yet, has anyone taken the plunge and tasted the Glenlivet Spectra Trio yet? |

What are they thinking, what have they done. at this price, no chance!
Whoever thought this was a good marketing ploy should comment why.
Doesn't appeal to me. If I had £100-120, I would buy something else.
Deary me. |
