As Douglas Laing continues their year of 70th anniversary celebrations they have unveiled the third of four special XOP Platinum bottlings which they are releasing throughout the year, this time the Glasgow whisky bottler has released a limited edition Glen Garioch 25 Year Old 1993 Vintage single cask, single malt.

Another interesting release from Douglas Laing this month is the latest expression in their Provenance Coastal Collection, Caol Ila 6 year old

Douglas Laing didn't state a specific date in September, they only told me that they would be available from September 2018, I have asked them if they can be more specific and will update you if I hear anything but it probably depends on the individual retailers.

Ah.. i feel bad, i turned down a bottle of Glen Garioch, even though Ive got the first 2 releases. Didn't do anything for me. Not liking DL price on this XOP.
Got other bottles on the wishlist.

I too was offered a bottle of the "Glen Garioch 1993 25yo". But I agree that the price point is on the high side.
