I am sure this one will be of great interest to those of you who enjoy a big peated sherried whisky, Smokehead today launched a new heavily peated limited edition Islay single malt called Smokehead Sherry Bomb which they describe as a heavily peated Islay single malt that has been boldly blasted by sherry casks.

| They must be confident that this is good to price it above the likes of Ardbeg Uigeadail, I do like a peaty sherried whisky but I think I will hold out for some reviews. |

| Fergie I look at it as something off the normal beaten track of my usual peaty sherried drams, could be a welcome change. Ian Macleod has always been bold with their pricing of Smokehead for any expressions above the standard entry level Smokehead but admittedly they have all been very good to date. |
