Bowmore have launched the 5th and final Black Bowmore from the last of their now famous 1964 stock, the Black Bowmore 50 Year Old The Last Cask, which will set you back £16,000 if you want to get your hands on a bottle, a long way off the £79.99 price tag of the first Black Bowmore release.

| It does sound like they just caught it before it slipped below 40%. I would love to taste it but that isn't going to happen at £16k for a bottle. |

| I recall the early Black Bowmore releases changing hands for around £2000 - £3000 and thinking that surely their value had peaked and they now change hands for up to £12000. |

| I had the first 3 Black Bowmore whiskies, long gone now. Who would have predicted they would have been worth what they are today. |

You will soon be unable to get a 15 year old for under £100 if price rises continue the way they are. |
