| Is the Glenlivet 12 First Fill discontinued now? Can't find it on World of Whiskies for example. |

| I think it is Alex, my family used to bring me a bottle once and a while when visiting from Scotland but have not been able to get it for some time now, pity as it was very good. |

| I think the Glenlivet 12 First Fill and the Glenlivet 15 travel retail bottling are both discontinued now, at least I never see them at an airport now. |

It's a pity if that's the case - the 12 First Fill and the age-statement Nadurra were the only Glnelivets I'd regularly buy. I know you can still get the Nadurra but the price has increased a lot.
Does the NAS Nadurra First Fill (or whatever it's called) bear any resemblance to the 12 First Fill in terms of flavours? |

Yes there is a definite resemblance IMO. With its extra strength I would rate the Nadurra First Fill Selection above the 12. I have only had the cask strength version and not the 48% travel retail version.
I do wonder if the Nadurra 16 year old is being phased out as it is becoming more and more scarce and expensive. |

| The Glenlivet Nadurra First Fill Selection is now my go to Glenlivet, I never tried the 12 First Fill but I can says the Nadurra First Fill does what it say on the label, a lot of whisky for £45 considering it is bottled at 60+%, it happily takes a splash of water without dulling down the taste. |

OK, I'll probably give it a go then. I liked the 12 First Fill a lot, I thought it was definitely a cut above the regular 12, and a match for older whiskies in terms of depth of flavour. I'm just a bit mad at Glenlivet with their U-turn on age statements etc, and also they're lagging behind other distilleries in terms of craft presentation nowadays. |

Alexxppp, sadly the Glenlivet 12 First Fill is discontinued, a real pity as it was a hidden gem in travel retail.

Thanks William, it's on my to try list! And yes, 'hidden gem' describes the 12 First Fill perfectly, especially since you couldn't tell it apart from the regular 12 on the shelf. |

the normal glenlivet 12 year old was my go to speyside whisky
then I went through duty free and bought the first fill 12 year old it was the better of the two so why they are not doing it anymore is a bit of a shocker I will have stock up next time I fly

That makes sense, though I'd assume there's younger whisky in there too, otherwise why not put an age statement and charge a bit more as well? Still, if it's all First Fill it matures faster I guess. |
