The Glenlivet Nadurra First Fill Selection Review
The Glenlivet
Nądurra First Fill Selection was
100% matured in American White Oak casks
that have never before been used to
mature Scotch whisky, as you
would expect with first fill casks they
impart hints of creamy vanilla to this
wonderfully rich single malt.
 William Morrison's Tasting Notes:
Bottled at a cask strength of
63.1% ABV
Nose: Creamy sweet vanilla fudge, fresh pear,
coconut, touch of oak
spice.
Taste: Big barley sugar candy sweetness, vanilla, zesty
oranges and lemon, pineapple, a lovely
light
touch of oak spice hanging around the
background.
Finish: Refreshingly long.
More vanilla and candied fruit, the oak
spice comes more to the fore but is kept
in check by the sweet candied fruit.
Comment:
This is the second time I have reviewed
the Glenlivet Nadurra First Fill
Selection and
I still love it, my review hasn't
changed, it is like 2 of my favourite
Glenlivet whiskies have come together - the
Glenlivet 12 First Fill travel retail
exclusive which sadly has been
discontinued and the Glenlivet Nądurra
16. It really is a must try for any
Glenlivet drinker or indeed any single
malt drinker, an outstanding expression
of The Glenlivet.

Selection is priced around £45 which is
a great price for a whisky this good
bottled at cask strength. Can you tell I
