Glenfiddich distillery workers mark 125th anniversary of the original Christmas spirit with a Glenfiddich bottle Christmas tree.

Workers at The Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown are marking the single malt's 125th anniversary with the creation of a unique Glenfiddich bottle Christmas tree.

The tree, towering over ten feet high, will has pride of place at the distillery's Dufftown home and has been made using 665 of the single malt's unique triangular green bottles. It has been built in homage to the first drop of spirit that flowed from Glenfiddich's stills on Christmas Day 1887.
