Experience—designed to immerse visitors
in the rich heritage, craftsmanship, and
flavours of Dewar's Blended Scotch and
Aberfeldy Single Malt. Building on the
success of last year’s Warehouse
Experience, this new addition
underscores the distillery’s commitment
to redefining whisky tourism.
The journey begins with an introductory
film that sets the stage for Dewar's
remarkable legacy. Visitors then explore
the heritage museum, where the brand’s
pioneering spirit and storied history
come to life. A guided distillery tour
follows, offering behind-the-scenes
insight into the whisky-making process,
from grain to glass.
Guests will step into the atmospheric
original warehouse buildings, dating
back to 1898, starting in the Old
Filling Store, where they’ll discover
the Aberfeldy Single Malt casking and
maturation process. The tour then moves
into the Blenders Bothy, where visitors
will learn about the double-ageing
process of Dewar's Blended Scotch and
the intricate four-stage ageing of the
Dewar's Double Double range. In this
space, cutting-edge projection
technology brings an avatar of six-time
International Whisky Competition Master
Blender of the Year, Stephanie Macleod,
to life, offering an interactive glimpse
into her expertise.
A true highlight of the Whisky Explorer
Experience is the expertly guided whisky
tasting, featuring five carefully
selected drams. This curated selection
showcases the depth and complexity of
Dewar's and Aberfeldy whiskies,
including aged expressions and
limited-edition releases, each with its
own distinctive character. With insights
from expert guides, guests will uncover
the craftsmanship and nuanced flavours
that make these whiskies what they are.
