Sark blended scotch whisky was first
produced in 1923
for the American market but due to
prohibition it was not sold in the
United States until 1933. During
prohibition it was exported to the
Caribbean which allowed it to establish
an early foothold in the American market.
Today Cutty Sark blended scotch whisky is better known in the United States than in the UK.
The whisky consists of mainly Speyside
malts which include The Macallan and Tamdhu.
Cutty Sark Tasting Notes
