Bowmore
release a 19 year old French Oak matured
limited edition single malt exclusively
available from Amazon.
 This
Bowmore 19 Year Old French Oak single
malt whisky is a new limited edition
from the Islay distillery which will be
available exclusively from
Amazon which in itself is a sign of
how the worlds biggest online shop has
now become a major player in the premium
whisky market.
A rather unique Bowmore, it was matured
for 19 years in First-Fill ex-Chateau
Lagrange French oak barriques, so it
should appeal to the many Bowmore
drinkers and collectors amongst you.
Bottled at 48.9% ABV it is described as
having depths of rich oak and sweet
fruit with perfectly balanced layers of
exotic spices, light peat and heather
honey.
David Turner, Bowmore distillery
manager, commented on the Amazon
exclusive release, saying: "This unique
new expression has been patiently aged
for 19 years in French oak barriques to
impart a richness of flavour that
perfectly marries with the gentle peat
that has made Bowmore so famous.
"It’s the first time we’ve offered a
whisky of this age and maturation, we
know everyone who buys a bottle will be
rewarded with a liquid of exceptional
flavour and character."
A limited release
of 4,500 bottles,
I suspect this will not be available for
very long and is perhaps one which we will see
appearing on the auction sites in the
not too distant future so if you want to
