Auchentoshan
Presents Sundays at The Lock Tavern.
This Winter Londoners should prepare to
challenge their perceptions with some
unique Sundays at The Lock Tavern with
Auchentoshan The Triple Distilled
Lowland Single Malt Whisky. Auchentoshan
has teamed up with the Lock Tavern to
create a series of very special Sunday
sessions, working with promoters like
Kill Em All, Bloggers Delight, Sunday
Best and Fact Magazine.
The events kick-off with a unique whisky
tasting where aficionados will introduce
consumers to the world of single malt
whisky and the smooth & versatile
flavour of Auchentoshan. As the day
unfolds so does the music, with djs and
bands selected to bring to life the
forward thinking nature of Auchentoshan.
"Auchentoshan Presents" started on the
24th October and will run monthly
forming part of a wider series of
seeding events designed to challenge the
traditional whisky norms and appeal to
an emerging discerning whisky drinking
generation as well as the single malt
evangelist. Collaborations and
partnerships include Synth Eastwood,
Daydreaming with James Lavelle, Brighton
Photo Biennale curated by Martin Parr
and the pop-up supper club Shacklewell
Nights.
Kirsteen Beeston Head of Brands
Marketing commented. "We’re really
excited about the year ahead and the
prospect of introducing new whisky
drinkers to the world of single malts.
Whilst the emerging whisky generation is
important to us, it¹s also imperative
for us to continue to cater for whisky
specialists with limited edition
whiskies that stand out in the market
place."
Michael Cloke , Brand Manager for
Whiskies at Cellar Trends said;
"Auchentoshan is gaining momentum in the
on trade with both new and old whisky
drinkers due to its modern font, label
and smooth triple distilled taste making
it more approachable. The brand’s
Lowland appeal is also a draw as very
few have heard of the category.
Auchentoshan Three Wood is proving
popular with bartenders to use in
cocktails such as Manhattans and Rob
Roys owing to its unique and complex
flavour which comes from maturing the
liquid in three separate casks.
Auchentoshan 12 year old is being mixed
as a long serve with ginger ale or tonic
both with a wedge of orange."
The
Lock Tavern is located at 35 Chalk Farm Road,
London.
